The purpose of this online system is for charities to be able to spend 10-20 minutes a week working through a series of questions that will enable them to generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for their funders and stakeholders. The system needs to be easy to use and affordable. It will be accessible via a user name and password system which can also be given to funders so that they can access information at their convenience.
It could also be sold to funders so that they can give it to organizations that they are supporting. The cost needs to be attractive at around £150-£200 per year. There is no obvious competition at this point in time other than Charity Evaluation Services who tend to go into a lot more depth that in my experience is more time consuming and less attractive to smaller charities with limited staff resources.
